怎么搞得嘛?

一起走过了十几年的路,

他始终埋怨着她。

而她始终怀疑着他。

它便在想:这是怎么搞得?

something different?

We play at playgrounds.

We work at workplaces.

We study at study areas.

Why dont we study at playgrounds,

play at workplaces,

and work at study areas?

Life could get more interesting.

Time

I shall discuss about my habit of being late. what contributes to it is probably my own lazyness as well as the inability to say no. i feel that i treat mom's place as a hotel, like going there to sleep then the next morning ill be going to meeet my friends. hence ill stay longer then end up late for meetings with friends. Or it will be that my mom says shell fetch me then go bathe then take like 45 mins. 1 thing i remember most vividly was during my primary school days. I dreamt that i was late for school for like 2 hours. I literally jumped up with a start and began to cry - only to find out i was still early for school. maybe something snapped then, i took things more lightly and at a much slower pace. Now i think i am going too slow. ahha.

who cares

So many things

I bought an accoustic guitar for 94 dollars! Which is cheap cheap!! haha happy days.

Got the Jay chou new album!! nice songs! shi guang ji is what i a playing right now.

photos will have to wait till i get out of my lazy syndrome.

yea.

Letters from a kin

Starting off with today, a pretty slack day ended school at 12.30, which was really early. Decided to do some running, and i actually ran 10 rounds in like half hour, which was really slow. Hmm, i wonder why. Ran with jacky and Yu Hua. Played basketball later on, then bathed and at 4plus settled down to study.
Found interesting things in school today! I think the cleaners (if not then i really dunno) here planted papaya trees, a jackfruit tree and a pineapple plant or bush? 1 jackfruit is gonna be ripe soon!
It feels like the cleaners in our school will be staying to watch them grow and bear fruits, or why plant it at all? Have they grown attached to the school? or simply theres no other place to be.
However the really really interesting part would be that i found another way out of the school!! Without meeting the guards or through the side gates, hehe. Hence i conclude that a stroll can bring unexpected surprises!
Reached home to find a letter adressed to me from my sister currently studying in Australia. She has written out a list of things for me to do! And here it is:

What I Want

1) To find out what i want to do in life. i.e. To find out what i like and what i am good in (which can be different of course).
2) To do meaningful and enjoyable things with family and friends.

3) Get out and do some workout to get a tough and healthier looking physique.

4) Fall in love. Love is not blind, lust is. So fall in love with your eyes intact please.

GOOD LUCK!

But above all these things would be to do well in my promos! I REALLY Do Not Want To Retain.
Haha. For a person who is so far away from my life currently and still think about me would be a person who had been so close in my life before. Who'd that be if it isn't my sister? Missing her.

A cup of milo

There is a cup of milo on the table.

Person A walks to it and takes a sip, makes a face and comments that it is too sweet, puts the cup down and walks off.

Person B walks over to it and takes a sip, makes a face and says it is too thin, puts the cup down and walks off.

Person C then approaches the milo and takes a sip, makes a face and says that it is too thick, puts the cup down and walks off.

Person D too takes a sip of the milo, makes a face and feels that it is too bland, puts the cup down and took off.

The person who made this cup of milo returns and drinks a big mouthful , smiled and exhaled and says, just the way i like it!

So why are we complaining when we drink someone else's cup of milo?

A mega-watt smile

Well i called in sick for today and didnt go to school. Yay!! it feels good not to be at school. Before you get the wrong idea, i really was sick, but yea school sucks. slept till 1 then got up to do some math. was able to get some questions done. and so am satisfied. at around 5, went out to go cut some hair only to find out the hair salon ain't cutting it. haha ,pun intended. Thus i obviously would have to go home then. It was when i was sitting at the bus-stop, getting caught up in my own world, that out of the corner of my eye i spotted some movement of someone moving to sit next to me. It turned out to be a little girl maybe 4-5yrs old.

She gave me a mega-watt smile, teeth and all -- and I finally knew what was meant by a mega-watt smile today. She was accompanied by her mom and a younger brother.

They were actually just passing by the bus-stop. So after smiling at me she then walked back and joined her mom and bro and went off.

So I dont know why she smiled so brightly at me, a complete stranger, but it sure was incredible. It warms the heart. :D

Weekend well spent on many matters other than mundane studying!

We shall start on Friday, national day celebrations. Well what can you expect from schools hosting these kind of celebrations every year. Even if we won't get bored, they would. So, it was a boring affair. The only part i liked about it was the medley of songs which an external group came to sing to teach us about reason, rhyme and rhythm - how poems are made, or songs for that matter.

Later on, went to watch movie with jia hao liesel and james. i watched mummy and money with jia hao while liesel and james watched money and dark knight. That was the first time i watched 2 movies in a row at a cinema. Yeah! Then on to celebration of gentson, qingbin and siming birthday! with jiafu. haha, Allof us then cooped u in the room to watch the Olympics opening ceremony. It was MAGICAL to say the least. China has really outdone itself. Bravo!!!

After that, jacky angus and jimmy came to my house to KAITAI! yea, we played like one and a half feng before we got too lin lao hia tired. The rest of the time was committed to playing dota.

Saturday:
Spent da whole day celebrating jimmy birthday!! Went to his house for poh pia and play wii. wii is really quite fun leh. very cute. played till when the birthday cake came out we were still blur blur. lol. Then continues the saga of dotaing at his place. NDP was totally ignored after watching the Olympics opening ceremony.

Sunday:
Woke up at 2.30pm. Went to eat dinner with jm and gavin for a second birthday dinner at Manhattan FISH Market at plaza. Bloated.Spent 2 hrs asking people to go play badminton on monday at 8am. Being a host sucks.

Monday:
Played badminton with ren jie james de xian jimmy gavin and eugene. Yea it was fun. after our time was up, we went to scavenge for other courts - by staring in their face and asking: is this your court!?? haha it worked. but no lah we didnt stare or do anything funny. We are gracious gentlemen :) it got really funny when we used the netball net to play badminton. Then proceeded to hougang mall for breakfast and then LAN at hougang plaza. It was so long since i last steped into a LAN shop. .. and it is so cheap!!! super promotion! paid 1.80 in the end. yea. Then went TP to study. I like their library.

whoo finally..

events for the past months

Ha ha. Was and still am really lazy about updating so this is are just some photos about the past few months ive taken that i feel is interesting!
So what's so interesting about this pair of shoes? Its hollow man wearing them!! Can't you see some one there?? LOOK CLOSER and then tell me again. its actually moving!

Elmo and his friend having an animated conversation at Bugis. But i dont think they can see each other though, staring at the menu and all.
A child and his bike at perhentian islands. What about in singapore? It probably would be a child and his computer.

A child's toy and an adult's toy. So whats the difference? Did it become more complicated? So as a person grows older, does he or she become more complicated too?Is it a good or bad thing? Or if so, why? or its just part of our defense mechanism for survival?

How do you feel when you are alone squatting on the beach, looking far to where the sky and sea touches? would you be thinking of anything? Or would you be emo-ing? i think my mind will just go blank. Haha.

My first blood donation and my first failed blood donation

Hai... a sad day today. I got my dad to sign the consent form for the blood donation. Got to the venue in school at around 1. Filled in lots of stuff, took a kind of simple blood test Gave an interview on why i wanna donate blood. Waited again...till 2.30. Then i sat on the chair where they were just a few minutes from drawing my blood. " I'm so sorry..i cant find your vein, so cannot take the blood."

wow.

i guess i'll try again next time.

can't sleep

For the first time in JC, i couldnt sleep during econs lecture. I forced myself you know, to make me sleep. My eyes were closed but my brain just couldnt stop whirring, which made me really pissed...no, more like frustrated. Imagine you being rolled tightly up in a blanket and you are struggling to get out but just couldnt. That always freak me out, so dont try it at home pals.

well a few days back, i saw an uncle of perhaps 40 plus years. He was pushing his bicycle on the BUS LANE AGAINST the TRAFFIC (i mean really in the middle of the bus lane in broad daylight, sometimes even cutting to the middle lane), disregarding all the horns and blares of cars and buses alike.

The interesting thing was that he was wearing a safety helmet. I really wonder what the hell he was thinking, or seeing. Is he trying to make a statement? or is he trying to kill himself?

Well the least he could do was to throw that helmet away.

2nd Day, Perhentian island

This is probably the 2nd day we are in the island or the 1st.. i mess up times all the time.
Two's a company..

eight's a crowd
The gathering!
nice view of redang island, a nearby island, which is actually not very near. about 40 min boat ride.( might be near for the locals). it is very commercialised and noisy.
Wth!?? 3 men and a guitar!??

Then we returned to our island which is much more peaceful and serene.

These are real guns, mind you. dont even come near! i got a bodyguard. dont mess around dude. They are actually actors coming to this island to shoot for the movie "Wanted". But angelina jolie was'nt around though. Anyone who believed me should slap yourselves. But it is a set of some sort.
I love small jetties.
different one, equally nice.
Boats-- the livelihood of the people here. Ready for the next trip?

Mid years are over

exams are over for now. why are things always a cycle? Can only say i did my best in the exam, not outside. ahha. lets see how it goes.
Interestingly, i hope everyday's an exam day. then ill wake up like 9.30 in the morning, slowly have my breakfast, study a bit, nap, drool, stone till like 12, then ill go bathe. reach school roughly at 12.30, then meet up with friends to revise a bit more, which usually nothing goes in, then at 2pm, to take my exam. yea, release at 4pm and go home.
yup, i like these kind of days.
when I reach home, around 4.45, will watch some TV till dinner time. Then ill grab an apple as a dessert and go riding on my bicycle. that would be around 6.30plus.
heh, i lead an interesting life.

This would be the city. Its about 30 min bus ride from my sis place.
I guess this cathedral is really famous or something being built at a really prominent location where when you get down and you will see it.

Yea i like this picture. It says private property but there doesn't seem to be any.
a pretty cute building.

And then Home sweet home! Mode of transport: Airbus 380. Although it still feels the same size with just tons of entertainment features.

In Australasia

Pictures Galore!

This is a dinner we had with my sis ex-neighbours, they just moved recently but they still keep in contact. Seafood spaghetti and salad. They are really a lovely couple, they volunteered to bring me out to sight-see just after meeting with me! Who can find such generous people nowadays.

My breakfast for one of the days.

A watercooler cum tap in the middle of nowhere.. actually its near a playground.haha

The town Hospital. I thought hospitals should at least have a big first-aid sign somewhere.

Hibiscus

Eastwood. where 80% of them are koreans. 19% chinese. 1% angmoh.

Wow, that's powerful, i felt.

Its literally where a bus stops for you to board. Just a sign to tell you its a bus-stop, and john ain't happy.

A fire station.

Sydney trip

Went to sydney to visit my sister studying there at Le Cordon Bleu. She was staying with a roommate at an apartment. It was tiny.. but at least that means less housework! On the 1st day she had already invited her friends over for a potluck party, pretty much for me to get to know her friends. They are really a friendly bunch!

These are all students from my sis school.

Da Korean club!

This would be seok. An avid photographer, i click with him. He also has a polaroid camera which he took pictures with everyone of us and gave us the photo. Really friendly guy!

Had a fun time in all, was really tired the 1st day. Lastly, We had ALCOHOL!! Cos they are all above 18...

Wasted...

Aiya..today i made a wasted trip to Yamaha for guitar class, cos i didn't realize that it was a frigggin centre holiday..ah well, at least i got to buy my guitar strings and envelopes. What are the envelopes for you ask. Well isn't it obvious? write letters for.....hehehe up to you to guess.
Also i wasted probably over ten messages to get my PW members to meet at National Library today, only to cancel it at 1+ pm. Why can't we just message back to inform each other?? is 5cents so hard to spare? What about picking up calls?? No call function on phones?? AHHH! we need better co-operation than this.
I guess what i wasted overall was time then..always wasting, i really need to use time well.
so...is blogging wasting time??
Ah well.

Backwoodsman!

Salmon wrapped in banana leaves. With herbs and pepper as garnish.
Introducing the amazing FLYING chicken! Our main course. Just look at the grilled skin garnished with pepper and herbs,it melts in your mouth along with the tender chicken meat! Of course not forgetting the prawns...they suck. If you look a bit closer, you could see 2 coconuts getting burned. They hold our rice and soup! Say..that makes a 6 course meal! (including BIG ripe strawberries which you do not have the fortune to see it, or to taste it.)

Halfway through devouring our meal, i managed to take a picture at the risk of the salmon being reduced to bones! Ain't i great? :) This concludes the backwoodsman trip with jimmy, his bros, his big bro friend. We should do this more man.
