a little story Part.1

Okay. So this little guy here his name was john. He likes to stick his tongue out due to an old habit of his which he has tried to kick. And well you can see that he is still trying. With his tongue out like that many people thinks that he looks retarded and does not want to be his friends (well who would!) . However, being too young to care, he still smiles in his carefree way but often wonders why no one wants to be near him. Things were still going well for him in his young age as he has caring parents and great siblings to rely on, so self esteem isnt really a problem. John had a healthy sense of himself, sometimes a little too healthy but still quite acceptable anyway. However as he grew up, things began to change...he notices them but cant quite well nail it...

So what did john notice? will he be able to comprehend what he noticed? what were the changes? are the changes for better or worse? Find out in a little story part.2!!

Well.. this is part of my class anyway taken last year at east coast park.

We are a bunch of lazy people who all took higher chinese or does not need to take chinese at a level. i feel that that makes us all pretty clever. Ahha but who knows.. still the average in grades compared to the rest of the classes.

refreshing things

watching movies in the morning like at 11am really is a good experience. For one - no queues!

sitting down to study really is good for concentration.

playing badminton with friends or with people you dont know is fun too.

but what i wanna say is i chose to spend my holidays this way. and i like it.

following your dreams

do i oversimplify things or do i not? Having a dream is important, so is goal setting. so saying i wanna be a businessman! thats oversimplifying. after i achieve that dream, what then? a next one? something that pulls you along outside is a dream, something that drives you within is passion. i guess it all comes down to how bad you want it.

So how do i follow a dream? live it.

just another day

well ran today for half an hour. feels good. cleared up some thoughts. Gonna wear the night cycling shirt next week? i didnt wear it today - i wonder why?

night cycling was cut short by half due to the rain,well everyone were tired and the debrief was good. overall i can say that it was pretty successful. First time i got so tired that after the guys left after breakfast i slept at ECP till my dad came looking for me after waiting at the carpark for half hour. even on the van i was still dazed. haha at least i survived.

Now is the time to clear up my work and organize my mess. start to learn and remember. distractions do come, so please focus!

Night Cycling.

Night Cycling WILL turn out great! Looked at photos of the cycling recces with the all men team. haha laughed my ass off. after this event, i can go peacefully.... haha not yet. got to tackle my studies.

learn to accept, learn to forget, whats there to forgive if you forget? haha.

one way i learnt from a book to boost your memory: tell yourself that there really isnt any other way if you wanna get good grades . which is to study. kind of like what will you do when driven to the back of the wall? puts things into focus.

Achievement?

ok i got an A for my PW. In fact its the 1st A i encountered since my JC life. The closest i ever came to was a B no matter what.

However, one of my group members didnt get an A. For that i feel quite bad about it. Well feels like i didnt help her out enough. As a leader i feel that we should achieve together. Feels like somehow i failed her. hmm this got me thinking abut being a leader. Although many feels that being the leader of pw is pretty bullshit. But if you took this position seriously, you should feel responsible for your groupmates. didnt think i did enough at that time.

All that for thinking, got to act too.

ive got a good teacher

here today to give thanks for a great form teacher. Well it was parent teacher's meet a few days ago.

was pretty held for words and feeling tense during the meet. She put in many nice words for me - in short doing damage control. Realised many teachers do not really care about their students like that. Can say that ive been really lucky during my schooling life.

then today i asked my math teacher what if i got C for my math mid years? She said it seriously: i will treat you.

hmm got me wondering: my math is that bad? ahha got to put in more effort in memorising the formulas.

Fish Tank

"Go in there, sit on the bench and look at the fish swimming.

Its especially best when you turn off the lights and leave the fish tank lights on.

Its like watching a movie, there's aircon and then you see the actors - all the goldfish running all about, at their most natural and happiest times. Giving you the best performance of their lives.

Then you listen to the slow dripping sounds of water hitting water of the water purifier. You are almost in a trance.

It is really relaxing."

preparations

well Odac today was about preparing for the CCA Bazaar. felt we did quite little things but ended up really tired. then was walking along and saw a group of pretty old ladies (probably housewivesd) dancing at the basketball courts. ended up feeling that as you grow older there is less and less things to do. For example the older generation dont really go out with their friends but rather stay at home and take care of the family. Some might have felt so bored that they decided to join the CCs social dance groups. why couldnt they like us go out with their friends and go out to eat or to catch a movie? too old for that kind of stuff? or just because you are unable to go due to responsibilities, work? Our parents seem to have less fun than us. why? It seems like we are only concerned about the present and they are concerned about the future.
So they are preparing for the future?

Coming back

Alright!! im back many things happened between these past 2 month. Went to China, moved house, 1st day of school, buying furnitures, setting up a wireless newtwork, celebrating christmas and eve, celebrating new year eve. This is in all a very brief summary! But to sum it all up: the past 2 months i have been learning and doing and also thinking. it pretty late, so ill end off here.
