Pushover

Sigh.. feeling like a pushover now.

What happened was that i have been getting our supplier to provide a service for one of the fridge. But the hag and !@#$ woman at singmah wanted us to pay for this service which should be free when we bought so many fridges from them. Liased with her for one week and the quotation she gave me just keeps getting higher and more ridiculous. Singmah should fire her, by the way her name is Carrie surname Wong. Thinking about her attitude for service just makes me wanna slap her. What a LOUSY sales executive.

My boss had to call up the manager personally to settle this matter.

Which makes me feel: i'm such a pushover. I take what people say at face value and never think about when it is time to flare up at them. Sigh.

Gotta stand firm and start scolding people!

What you are telling yourself

Today i attended an adventure education program as a facilitator at an institution. The program's aim is to bring across the value of communication. At the end there was a speech on how the students, if they just put in a little more effort, can do well in their studies and so on. And well, here are some of my thoughts and observations.

I saw people participating excitedly to people not giving a fart's worth of interest in the activities. Well i could imagine what the latter were thinking, probably along the lines of: Its a waste of time!, These activities are so lame, I don't need this speech about how I'm not a loser etc.

What the group of detached and uninterested students had struck me was this: Who told you the program was a waste of time? Who told you that the activities are lame?

Who told YOU?

Why isn't it you yourselves truly?

So my question is: What do you want to tell yourself?

Shopping!

Bought a Tamron 18 - 200 AF lens. And a 30L Dry Cabinet. The lens cost 325 and the dry box costs 118. Must say overall it was a good deal.

Tried out the tamron lens just now and found out the focusing isn't very good for macro shots. But i love the zoom and the color! It beats the 18 - 55 canon one. Then i tried to get rid of the mold in the canon lens and so proceeded to unscrew the whole thing. Found out that the mold or fungus was growing inside the lens which is impossible for me to get rid of. So i screwed it back and amazingly it still works. haha.
